Workforce of the Future: Policy & Civic Lab

Client: The Better Futures Institute

  • For this project, Guerita Consulting led the planning and execution of a half-day event with 200 people at the UTSA School of Data Science focused on workforce development, talent retention, and civic innovation.
  • Coordinated and curated a speaker lineup of local leaders and corporate executives (Toyota, USAA, greater:SATX) for an audience of 150+ college students, and helped secure sponsorships and community partnerships
  • Oversaw program design, speaker outreach, and promotional efforts positioning the institute as a thought-leader in San Antonio when it comes to urban research and workforce development.

Multilingual Editing & Translation, European Press Prize

Client: Kompreno, Frankfurt, Germany

  • Since 2023, Guerita Consulting has partnered with Kompreno, a Frankfurt-based startup that curates top journalism across Europe, to support the European Press Prize jury process.
  • Hired as part of an international team of editors and translators, kompreno uses a blend of AI tools and human expertise to review, fact-check, and translate multi-language submissions into English while preserving the original story's integrity and tone.
  • Our work ensured judges could read side-by-side versions—original language and English—across several prize categories, enabling a fair and accurate selection of Europe's best journalism.
